Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 Review

“He may have been your father, but he sure as hell ain’t your Daddy.”
The Guardians are hired by a powerful alien race, the Sovereign, to protect their precious batteries from invaders. When it is discovered that Rocket has stolen the batteries that they were sent to guard, the Sovereign dispatch their armada to search for vengeance. As the Guardians try to escape, the mystery of Peter’s parentage is revealed.
Although at some points the story dragged, but you could see the writers thought it all out and every detail was planned. Although the music choices weren’t as wonderful as the first film, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 was just as, if not more, heartfelt than the first film. The actors gave their characters more depth, and the story progression was very good. Making $225,000,000 the first weekend in theaters clearly showing this is another Marvel Triumph and deserves 4 out of 5 stars.
